    Descent - Vertical Map

First off Descent is a symmetrical map. So I started designing this map with Derelict in mind. I thought that a map with that style of play would be good for Reach. I finished the map and I believe it plays very well. It is a vertical 3 story map. It has lift structures like construct that take you to the top floor which makes the gameplay fast and balanced. Top control is the name of the game on this map but the tide can easily turn at any moment in the match seeing as how the team on bottom has a better chance for rockets. Take the time to play a few games and let me know what you think.

Gametypes: Team Slayer, FFA , Oddball , Territories

    Weapons, Gadgets, and AAs:
    • (4) DMR
    • (2) Pistol
    • (4) Frag Grenade
    • (1) Rocket
    • (2) HealthPack
    • (2) Plasma Pistol
    • (2) Plasma Grenade
    • (2) Needle Rifle

I feel like vertical maps are a tough thing to sell. I did one very similar and got poor reviews on it. Very tough gameplay if you think about it, top control and especially if you are running oddball and the other team has pinned the one team on bottom level. But this just feedback that I got for mine and dont take this in a negative way at all, just letting you know a little wht I ran into with a vertical map

Kamikazee: Thanks bro. Its much appreciated. Leave some feedback after you test it out.

Nitro: Yeah I understand the thought of what your saying nitro. Thanks for the insight. I just have always like vertical maps personally and thought they would excel in Reach. Maybe the design I have could avoid these problems you have mentioned. I guess time will tell.
