I don't think people are going to be caught off guard as they were at the start of Halo 3. Too many pros love this game and play it every day, and with all the lans that will happen with TLN and how the league has grown in the last 3 years, i don't think any team will be under prepared for the opener. Whichever team wins it will truly deserve it, and i would expect them to win the second event too. Not saying SyA can't win, but i don't think they will.

he brings goodpoints to the table. alot of pros love this game and Lans are helping them get better. yes there have been teams with more pratice but not better practice. it will come down to skill and i would not be suprised if we saw the top 8 full of halo 3 pro teams. and with names we all know and love.

SyA Just got wrecked btw. Nice job DH! Also, with the way Instinct is dominating, I feel better about FB already. They got owned in their LAN against INSTINCT but they have had WAY less practice and will only improve from here. I'm feeling good about this year!

Instinct beat an unpracticed FB, and quad-hosting while sitting next to each other in a 4v4 xbl tourney. its obvious you don't know what either quad-hosting means, the advantage of sitting next to each other, or xbl means.

SyA got 3-1'd by DH and all the games were close on Goofy's host on xbl. I wouldn't say that is getting wrecked, and they aren't out the tourney yet. They have loser's bracket for a reason...

btw. (in no order) I have DH, SyA, sQ, Warriors, and tD all placing ahead of Instinct at opener.
