Seriously this time! TLN Tournament!

Okay so I am fully aware of how many times this has been brought up in the past, and how many times nothing has come of it, but this time, I am serious!

Teams will consist of 4 people. If you already have a team, i.e. Showboaters, Double Take, etc. feel free to enter! If you don't have a team, try and get a few people from the community or some of your friends to make a team with. If you feel like you can't find a team, simply tell me your name in a PM and I will list you as a free agent and hopefully someone will pick you up!

Bracket size will be based on what kind of response I get from the community, but I was thinking a 16 team bracket, double elimination. But I would be thrilled if we could get a 32 team bracket! No teams will be turned away so the bracket size is limitless!

The tournament is starting this weekend! Times are not confirmed yet but be ready to play!

To sign up, simply copy and paste the form below and fill out the information. (Note: by team captain, I simply am referring to the person that I will contact and give information to, so don't argue about it!)

Also, on the topic of scheduling matches, what I plan to do is try and get an idea from the captain of what the times are that their team can play. Once I have this from every time, I will schedule matches. Each team will be permitted 2 reschedules. The third time, if they are not there, they are disqualified. I know this sounds harsh, but it is the only way anything will get done!

If both teams don't want to play a certain gametype that was selected, they can choose to agree on a different map/gametype. However, if one team wants to keep a map and the other team wants to throw it out, the map will stay. Also, if both teams agree to change a map but then can not agree on a map to replace it with, the map will stay.

I will make this perfectly clear, teams are not allowed to replace a map/gametype with a map/gametype from V3!!! It must be V2 because that is how this tournament was drawn up to be played. Here are all the possible V2 gametypes.

That is an amazing idea. What I was going to do was get Silent Byte to just record them after and upload them after, like a VoD, but this is a great idea as well. I don't think it would be possible for it to be put on the stream, but if it is I would. Maybe I could do a JTV thing? Or maybe there is some way that we could get it on the stream. That would be so amazing.

chickens, these sites are great for seeing up brakets, feel free to organize it how you please, but i suggest using one of these to make everything run smoother.

haven't read your original post but i'm about to, so im sorry if you've already addressed this, but i think you should allow rescheduling of matches, but set up some guidelines so it doesn't take too long to get a match done. Also how do you want us to know what games to play? and if someone lags out what do you want to happen?

To do a VoD type thing, remember I CAN'T cap all the footage. That will take way to long and my PC doesn't have a lot of space. (a 10 minute game takes up 5-6 gbs on my PC) We either need someone else capping as well and or I can only cap like the finals or a game where one person just goes huge.
Once the games are capped, I'm sure there is a way to get all the videos together and run it as a rebroadcast if Mr.P would allow it. If not, just will have to be on YouTube.
