Many of you been thinking of saying something, but to scared to so i will take one for the team!! This is for my forge brothers!!!

Ok a lot of us forgers have been waiting and being patient about the contest and i do understand about hectic schedules. But i know a lot of us are to afraid to speak up and say something do to being flamed over it saying give them time. Now We have been patient and understanding when they push it back or when lans are going down. We also understand after lans you don't want to think of halo and just sleep. But its getting close to a month after the do date and i and many others would like a update.

Now please Mr. and Mrs P please do not take this as a insult or a flame, we just want to know..

You probably did not get banned because of what you said but because of the attitude that you portrayed. You can voice your opinion but you have to be tactful in how you deliever your message or else it will look like you are verbally attacking people.

Yea pshh I'm out of the contest. My map like many others was not fully ready (lag problems and stuff) when the second deadline came. Hell, it still isn't ready. I'm lazy and have lost interest in it though and I have just moved on. Oh well. To make it as good as I want I would need to size it down and take away the uniqueness of the map. That is something I don't have the heart to do as of now.

Back on topic: Thanks Salot for posting this. Hopefully it gets the attention many people want.

There was no reason to "cool other forgers' heads" because quite frankly, 90% of the forgers who submitted the map have had enough, and just don't care anymore. I understand that Mr. P is busy, but a lot of us were just asking for one post to let us know what's up. I'm sure he had 5 minutes to spare on one day in the past month. There is no reason why we couldn't have been informed.

Lets all try to keep it civil, we're all friends here. As far as the contest goes you guys have to understand something, Mr. P's first job is to be a family man, his actual job second, and TLN third. Now just with TLN he has to organize like 4 LANS this month, the amount of planning behind that is ridiculous. After that and all the other stuff going on with TLN even if he has time for the map quest contest he still needs to get the pros to test them, Im sure hes not trying to neglect you guys, hes either to busy to remember, or he dosen't want to post again saying we havent forgot ect. On top of that I think the whole family is out of town this week so not much he can do about it now. At the end of the day this contest is a gift, some contest are mutually beneficial in that the person holding the contest now has a sweet new logo, more publicity or something like that, this was done just for us and we should be patient. I know how painful it is to wait for this stuff, I won the instinct hoodie design contest and waited something like 5 months for my prizes, but in the end I got them and a signed shirt and speaker tags from instinct was well worth the time spent on the design and the waiting, and im sure the trip will be well worth the time one of you spent forging and waiting too.

Don't worry. You definitely have a point that I support. But the main reason this is delayed is because they have spending their time working on the stream stuff for the members. If you buy a pass, it shouldn't be lacking. I see what you mean though.

I sitting here in the hospital bed with my lap top getting ready to have surgery and l sit here upset that once again a promised has happened and broken, with no reply.

I guess who cares if you step on the little guys.

Just to let you know, that us forgers work hard on these maps and keep true to or promise has been step on one two many times. I apologized last time, but this time i will not, Mr.P its time you to step up and have some respect for us. Just Let you know i will no longer be buying passes for you lan's until you can make good on your promise. Maybe i am just one person and you probably don't give a dam if one person loses respect for you, but i do . As for me i care and work hard to keep my promise.

I've wanted to buy a pass, but unfortunately this situation is the one thing turning me away from it.

But back on topic (kind of), I'm just about done with TLN. This contest has definately changed my feelings about this site. And after taking a week break on vacation without computers and missing both fantasies, I feel disconected and not as involved with nothing holding my interest here except the few great friends I have made. The season is starting so there isn't as much off-season drama to keep up with, and I won't be buying a membership anytime soon with the payment problems and this contest issue.

But just for the record, I gave up my entire Christmas Break working on my map. Time that could have been spent working on my game with friends. I gave up oppotunities looking back I shouldn't have as this contest means nothing now. That was back when I had a chance, before forgers heard about an easy contest and invaded the forums. Now I use the term loosely. I welcome the newcommers that have stayed and become involved with open arms, but the competitive side of me wishes there was still only 15 submissions like in the beginning when I had a chance. Amirite? Glad thats off my chest as TLN slowly fades from my attention.

The surgery went fine, and i sitting here pretty dope up by pain meds. And after i feel less loopy i be on. Lucky were i am at has WiFi!!! I had the CNA hook my box up, so i am good to go.

I had 2 surgery to be done and they had to be paced out, I got the final one done today.
