Hey guys today I have the second episode of the lucky luke report, I'm really sorry i couldn't post it yesterday as I said I would, I was doing some important stuff for school. Anyways on this episode I am interviewing Rasha fasha and we are going to be focusing on his experience at the national gaming league tournament in Cincinatti.
Episode 1:http://thelannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?816-The-Lucky-Luke-Report&highlight=lucky+luke+report
Luke: Hey Rasha today on the lucky luke report we are going to be focusing mainly about your experience at NGL
Rasha: Hey happy thanksgiving to you and TLN and sounds good hit me with your best.
Luke: Thanks haha your a little late my thanksgiving was awhile ago but happy thanksgiving nonetheless tln! So how was the overall experience?
Rasha: It was a blast being able to finally get the chance to compete in the tournament for the first time and really see how I could compete against other players.
Luke: What are some of the most memorable moments from the weekend?
Rasha: For sure getting to play on the same TV in the FFA as Ogre 2 and getting able to talk to him and following close behind that would be getting to play what I thought was my best Halo on the live stream.
Luke: What were you looking to do coming into the tournament? Did you accomplish any goals?
Rasha: On an individual scale I just wanted to know that I could compete with the best and give them a challenge. In the FFA I had one of the harder heats and I still almost pulled off an amazing last minute comeback to advance which left me confident. The 4v4 we had a difficult bracket we lost to the number 1 and 2 seeds there which hurt. Overall I felt like I played really well and left happy with how I played.
Luke: What was it like meeting your teammates in person for the first time?
Rasha: It was a different experience just trying to fit the voices of the players to their
faces. They are a cool group of guys and it was pretty sweet to meet and compete with them in person.
Luke: Was this your first time playing Reach on lan? How different was lan play compared to online play?
Rasha: It was my first time playing and I felt the difference was that I could shoot a lot faster without the randomness taking over as much which allows more a faster style of gameplay.
Luke: How did it feel competing against some of the greatest players in halo's history?
Rasha: It was a sweet experience. I wish we could of played better I felt like our team just got intimidated by the fact that we were going up against some of the best ever and it showed in our communication and gameplay. We were not sharp like we were against other teams.
Luke: If you could have changed one thing from the weekend what would it have been?
Rasha: Actually sleeping. I had an exam the Friday before and my friend who was going with me couldn't leave until late so we didn't start driving for Cincy until 1AM and we arrived at about 4:30 haha so I only got about 4 hours of sleep.
Luke: Wow you should never sleep because you played excellent haha! Anyways explain the feeling you felt after being eliminated from the tournament. What was going through your head at that time?
Rasha: It sucked. I felt like I had my work cut out for me the whole day with a difficult FFA heat and getting matched up against the number 1 and 2 seeds there. I felt like I gave it my all and if a few things worked out differently or if we got on and practiced more that it could of been a different outcome.
Luke: How did you feel with your overall performance on the weekend?
Rasha: I felt like I played really well. I was getting so many sick headshots in the 2v2 tournament, almost pulled a sick comeback on FFA and when the 4v4's started I was already on fire and ready to go. I wish that placings wise I could of did better, but I was happy with how I played.
Luke: What is your current team sitution? Where are you going to find new teammates?
Rasha: Well I left BtR after I didn't get any responses from Cam (Magik) or Allen (Minor)
for a couple days after I said I wanted to team with my friend TowelTruckGuy. I didn't want to wait anymore on what they were doing so I decided to announce that me and him were going to team and after talking to a couple people today I came to the conclusion that I am going to team with TowelTruckGuy, Itchy, and Flish Flash and see how things work out from there. I am excited to team with these guys and I feel they will bring the fun back in the game for me which really disappeared when I was on BtR.
Luke: Sad to see you guys split, but good luck on the new team!So do you expect to continue going to tournaments, If so when and where will we find you?
Rasha: I would love to keep going to tournaments. After finally playing in one I don't wanna stop. I can see myself in MLG, NGL what ever and to keep competing as long as I can.
