its a strange thing MLG has going on for Seeding and Stuff its so that people cant "Carry" teams to the top by placing rosterchanging like look at it this way FB went from 11th seed to 6th seed just by Roster Changing and then Changing their name.

I hope he's still playing because the 06 carbon line-up is my favorite team of all time and 2/5 have retired already ( I count strongside that's why it's 2/5).

No I wasn't taking offense to it, I'm simply saying it's one of those ToTz things, how everyone's hating on him because his k/d isn't mad +. Ghost is an amazing player, he's not a slayer, he's always been the smart player, who knows spawns, and plays strategies, and objective to the max. I think we all know he's much better than he's showing, and as such I have no idea why Snipe or any of the other players on Dynasty dropped Ghost, over Destin...and that's nothing against Destin. I just don't feel like they have good team chem but again I've not watched Dynasty a whole lot.

I personally would have liked to see a Destin for Demon D swap...but that's just my opinion. I don't truly know why Snipedown, and the team decided to drop Ghost, but that's all that Gandhi, Shockwave, and Puckett were talking about during the broadcast, was how off his DMR was, how - he went, etc. Sure they added in that he knows the spawns of Reach the best right now, and he's a mad obby player and strategist, but DMR isn't everything, nor is +/-. I can remember fondly plenty of games where Ghost, has won the series/round for Carbon back in 06 and 07 due to his objective gameplay, or his support in getting the 50th kill in a 49-49 game, etc. I'd really like to hear the reasoning behind dropping Ghost for Heinz but I'm sure we'll never hear the gist of it all?

too me the difference between ghost and totz is that totz goes with the flow and tries to fit his style to teams, ghost does the opposite and tries to make the team play to his style, I think for ghost to suceed again he needs to find already similar playstyles so he can stop clashing with teammates in game.

I also disagree, yes when two equally smart teams match up the better shooting will win, but if you play smart you very rarely get into 1v1's with both of you full shields and no team support

He is a great support player. I can see him going just about anywhere and he would be able to fit in. He just needs to have some good slayers on his team and he will be fine. Not really sure if there is a spot like that available at this time though. Hopefully one opens up for him.

Speaking of...I still say Ghost makes a great coach and a bad player. I think its fairly ridiculous to count on a players smarts to avoid 1 on 1 battles. Its going to happen, its going to happen on a regular basis. ANd you have to be able to handle your business or you become a liability to your team.

09 nationals 2nd place was a fluke. I know i'm going to get alot of heat for that, but many people agree that those 2 back to back 2nd place wins were wierd circumstances. I watched them, and i didn't see that it was because of classic's amazing skill, just the way things panned out.

People overate IndivSkill. I mean SQ won on pure teamwork, Instinct won on pure teamwork, Carbon[09] placed top 3 consistently. Look at lets say BtH 2010. technically speaking they had three of the most Indivskilled players in Snipedown, Tizoxic, and Demon D, and Maniiac [When he goes off] yet they struggled all season. Players like Walshy, and Ghost bring so much to teams that aren't counted in stats. Like take Walsh
He's a morale booster [He instantly brings half the Mlg community to his side, when his team plays good]

He's helped players go from good to great, by getting them to kick their bad habits [EX Naded being a complete lone wolf who had his team work around them, teamwork to SS, and put Soviet in his comfort zone]

I mean Walshy, and Ghost bring tons to teams that their on, yes they don't always have the best stats. but for what they bring they can play slightly worse then their teammates. I for one thought Dynasty for a team that had NO Lan play, played extremely well, and whatever team picks Walshy up will instantly be better because of it

Victory X and FIS can only hold the "fb" seed. Totz can't hold the "instinct" seed on his own. That is why the god squad has the 6th and The Agency has the 10th.

They need two original members to hold the seed, so as soon as T2 leaves for Str8 that seed is disbanded regardless of how the players got there, so the Agency would end up being seeded like 15th (or forced into the amateur bracket instead of holding seed 10 automatically.)

That's the jist I got over on the MLG forums when it was explained :) Still no official post on how it all works though... which is very disturbing.

The problem is that Ogre 2 jumped from Final Boss 11th seed, to Instinct 6th seed and wanted to change the team name to Final Boss. In appearance it looks as if he simply hopped for a higher seed in play. It makes plenty of sense as to why MLG said no to the name change. Regardless of fan base. Rules are rules unfortunately.

They said no to killerdrew because he was going from like the 8th seed to the 13th or something, but when T2 joined classic and renamed it str8 it was ok because he gained a higher seed. They have shown this rule to be a gray area with the team name changes, because of how Str8 was able to jack the classic seed. MLG has not been consistent with name changes, so why start now? OG2 should copyright the team name and the team's logo so MLG can't do what they want with it.

I'm almost positive that Classic was able to change their name to Str8 Rippin because Str8 Rippin had disbanded. Snip3down and Heinz were on BtH, Legit was on his break and T2 couldn't hold the seed on his own. Since they had 3/4 of Classic on the team, they got that seed and because the Str8 name was no longer attached to a seed (Heinz and SD were on BtH and so had that seed) they could change their name. In this case, the name Final Boss is attached to a seed beause Victory was captain and he and FiS stayed together. I think the whole thing is stupid personally.

Don't call me a hater, because I'm not, but I really don't see Walshy having another good season. Brett Favre had one in recent years, but it was obvious (like it seems to be with Walsh), that he needed to retire for good.

im pretty sure that he left impact. I think he left impact because he felt they were not a plausible top team anymore. In the stream you can hear him say stuff like "no rage quitting" or "lets take it seriously" I think he just had enough and wanted to join a more serious team.

Neighbor in my opion is much better than apg and knows how to perform at events i honestly think apg underperformed

I can see where the people saying apg is awesome are coming from, but Neighbor has shown himself to be a great main slayer in the past and in my opinion is one of the better players on the circuit with his new found ability to do things other than slay. He's building a Ogre2 or LBX level of ability and flexibility in my opinion, and in my mind Ogre2 or LBX are the best players on the circuit due to their well roundedness.

Plus if Cloud, Clutch, and Maniac picks up their consistency then I could easily see BtH winning CBus as long as they mesh,

Ok, well obviously APG > Ghost in slaying. Agreed we have not seen Walshy, but from some Bungie stats he's looking pretty beastly though XBL =/= LAN obviously. All I meant was that you can't go by stats as to who's the best player on the circuit...I also have to agree w/ Toomuch players like Neighbor, and Snipedown come to mind more than APG...and Cloud is just plain sick, also another player on the rise who I think will get picked onto a Top 6 team eventually has got to be argn aka areallygoodnoob.

Alot of Team changing is happening souly based on Dallas and Friendships i feel alot of the Team changing is due to lack of Meshing look at every Dallas Interview with BtH they all said APG did not listen and did how own thing can any of us really pretend that we did not see this coming? i hope the best for both players and wish the teams luck now APG for Snipedown Snipedown for Naded and make Str8 T2, Legit, Ryanoob and Snipedown
